This Privacy Policy explains how ALJADEED GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED ("MOREYA", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit our website, create an account, place an order or apply to sell on our marketplace. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), preferences.
- Order data: billing/shipping address, phone, order history, invoices.
- Payment confirmations: our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, Revolut Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay) handle card details directly; we only receive a confirmation token and the last four digits.
- Merchant data: business name, contact person, registered address, trade licence, bank account for payouts, KYC documents.
- Usage data: IP address, device, browser, pages viewed, referral source.
- Communications: messages you send us via email, contact form, WhatsApp or social channels.
3. How we use your data and our legal basis
- Performance of a contract — to create your account, process orders, deliver products, manage returns, and pay merchants.
- Legal obligation — to keep accounting, tax and VAT records under Maltese law and to comply with consumer-protection rules.
- Legitimate interests — to prevent fraud, secure our platform, analyse aggregated usage, and improve our services.
- Consent — for marketing emails, non-essential cookies, and storing your preferences. You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. Cookies and similar technologies

5. Marketing communications

6. Customer and merchant accounts
You can view and edit your data in your dashboard. Merchants must keep KYC and product information accurate; inaccurate data may lead to suspension. Order and merchant payout records are retained as required by Maltese commercial and tax law.
7. Who we share data with
- Approved merchants — only the data needed to fulfil your order (name, shipping address, order items).
- Payment providers — Stripe, PayPal, Revolut Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
- Shipping carriers and customs authorities — for delivery and import clearance.
- Cloud and infrastructure providers operating inside the EU/EEA on our behalf.
- Authorities or regulators where the law requires it.
We never sell your personal data.
8. International transfers
Our primary infrastructure is hosted inside the EU/EEA. Where a transfer outside the EU/EEA is necessary, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards.
9. Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure. Order, invoice and accounting records are kept for the period required by Maltese law (currently 10 years). Marketing data is kept until you withdraw consent.
10. Your GDPR rights

11. Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, please contact us first so we can resolve the issue.
