These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MOREYA marketplace operated by ALJADEED GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated in Malta (company number C 112086, VAT MT31944203). By using the site you agree to these Terms.
1. User accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to register. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.
2. Merchant accounts and responsibilities
Sellers ("Merchants") apply for approval and, once approved, may publish product listings on the marketplace. Merchants warrant that they:
- Are a legally registered business able to sell the listed products in their jurisdiction and in Malta/EU.
- Hold all required licences, certifications (including cosmetic-product safety where applicable) and trademarks.
- Provide accurate listings, ingredients, pricing, stock levels and delivery timelines.
- Fulfil orders promptly, handle returns under EU consumer law, and respond to customer messages within two business days.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including GDPR, anti-money-laundering rules and Malta VAT obligations.
3. Product listings
All product information is provided by the listing Merchant. MOREYA reviews submissions before approval but does not independently certify every product. Images and descriptions must not be misleading; counterfeit or unsafe products will be removed and the Merchant suspended.
4. Orders, pricing and payments
Prices are shown in the displayed currency and include applicable VAT where indicated. Payment is processed by Stripe, PayPal, Revolut Pay, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your order forms a contract with the Merchant once we send a confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel orders for suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock issues or legal restrictions.
5. Marketplace rules
You agree not to (a) use the site for any unlawful purpose, (b) post false reviews, (c) attempt to interfere with the platform's security, (d) scrape data, or (e) impersonate another person or business.
6. Intellectual property
MOREYA branding, logos, photography, written editorial content and the website design are owned by ALJADEED GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED or its licensors. Merchant logos and product photography are owned by the respective Merchant. Nothing on the site grants you a licence to use any of this content without prior written consent.
7. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Maltese law and EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. Please see our Refund Policy for details about returns and refunds.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MOREYA's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the marketplace is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Maltese law.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the marketplace if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the safety of users and merchants. You may close your account at any time by contacting info@shop9.mt.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta, without prejudice to your mandatory rights as a consumer. EU consumers may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via a banner on the site at least 14 days before they take effect.
